Meet Shannon
Shannon is a Licensed Independent Social Worker Clinical Practice (LISW-CP) and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (ADC). Shannon has experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. With areas of focus including mental health, substance use, trauma, personal growth, stress management, adjustment and life transitions, grief and loss, depression, and anxiety. Shannon takes a strengths-based approach to help you see yourself as the strong and wonderful person you are. Some modalities used to to help you achieve this are TF-CBT and EMDR to address trauma, Motivational Interviewing (MI) to increase enthusiasm and drive for change, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help you to find personal satisfaction and growth. Shannon has been in the field for over seven years and has a passion for helping individuals recognize their strengths and finding happiness in their lives. Shannon is EMDR trained and is in the process of becoming EMDR Certified.
Services are $100.00 per 50 minute hour. I accept Self Pay or BCBS Insurance.
